Twenty4Seven Education is seeking a qualified, motivating and inspiring Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher for an inclusive ‘Good’ Ofsted-rated Primary School in West Malling, Kent. This wonderful opportunity is a full-time role teaching Reception children on a temp-to-perm basis.

Key Responsibilities:
* Have regard for the need to safeguard pupils’ well-being following statutory provisions
* Set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils to achieve their Early Learning Goals
* Plan and teach well-structured differentiated lessons and activities both indoors and outdoors in line with the EYFS Framework and the school's curriculum policy
* Reflect on the different rates at which children are developing and adjust your practice appropriately taking into consideration the ‘Characteristics of Effective Teaching and Learning’
* Develop early reading and writing skills using the systematic phonics programme Read Write Inc.
* Make systematic observations and assessments of each child's achievements, interests and learning styles
* Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a safe learning environment following the school’s behaviour policy
* Deploy any support staff effectively
* Take responsibility for improving teaching through appropriate professional development, responding to advice and feedback from colleagues
* Communicate effectively with parents and other professionals about pupils’ achievements and well-being
Must have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience working within an educational setting or similar (minimum of 12 months of experience)
* Child DBS check on the Update Service or willing to pay and apply for a new one (Twenty4Seven Education can assist you with this process)
* Up-to-date knowledge of the EYFS Framework and National Curriculum
* Read the DfE ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’ (2024) document
* Experience teaching systematic phonics
* Excellent classroom management
* Good communication skills
