Assistant Supply Chain Manager
We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Assistant Supply Chain Manager to join the team. Based from our Oldham office. you will work closely with the Supply Chain Manager and collaborate across pre-construction, delivery, and aftercare teams to develop and manage our supply chain partners, ensuring they meet both our current and future business needs.
This role requires commercial awareness and strong influencing skills. You should be passionate about driving value and ensuring high-quality products while engaging effectively with stakeholders at all levels. While experience in a similar role is essential, prior experience in the construction industry is not required.
Assistant Supply Chain Manager's follow a hybrid working pattern, with four days spent in the office and on-site visits, and one day per week working from home.

Key Responsibilities
Assist the Supply Chain Manager in maintaining a supply chain that aligns with business demands.
Build and maintain strong relationships with supply chain partners to assess their capability and capacity.
Analyse the cost of errors and propose improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency.
Promote consistency and high standards across all supply chain partners on every project.
Support the Supply Chain Manager in delivering regular business updates to supply chain partners.
Gather and analyse performance feedback from internal teams, using insights to drive informed decision-making.Essential and Desirable Criteria
Essential Criteria:
Minimum BTEC Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
Experience in supply chain management or procurement.
Knowledge of the Public Contract Regulations 2015 and other relevant procurement legislation.Desirable Criteria:
Degree or CIPS qualification.
Experience in construction supply chain management.Additional Information
