Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced TIG Welder to join our team on a secure nuclear site near Reading. This role requires precision, technical skill, and attention to safety. You will be responsible for executing high-quality TIG welding work to meet rigorous industry standards on various metals in a controlled environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform TIG welding tasks on complex metal structures and components, adhering to all safety and quality protocols.

* Follow technical specifications and diagrams to produce precise welds.

* Operate and maintain welding tools and machinery effectively.

* Complete necessary documentation and forms accurately and promptly.

* Work within the guidelines for operations in a high-security, nuclear environment.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

* Proven experience as a TIG Welder, ideally in high-security or regulated environments (nuclear, military, aerospace, etc.).

* SC Clearance (Security Clearance) is strongly preferred.

* Proficient in TIG welding processes and techniques.

* Ability to interpret technical blueprints and welding instructions.

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

* British Passport holder (required for security clearance).

* Must be capable of filling out forms and documentation accurately and promptly.

Additional Information:

* All applicants must hold a British Passport to meet site security requirements.

* Ideal candidates will already possess SC Clearance; however, candidates without SC clearance will be considered if they meet other qualifications.

* Immediate availability is highly desirable.
