Relocation opportunity: Yes. 10% of annual salary reimbursed on first pay day
Hours of work: 37.5 hrs per week
Salary: £39009 - £44191
The Clinical Nurse Educator will be responsible for:
To develop and support the education and training needs of the clinical healthcare workforce.
To contribute towards the delivery of the strategic aims and objectives set out in the organisational Clinical Education Strategy and Framework at the designated Service.
To demonstrate clinical expertise and credibility in clinical practice by being a role model at all times.
To participate in the development of policies and guidelines within the service
To support the delivery of any research being carried out in the centre and across the organisation to promote evidence-based practice and quality service delivery
The Clinical Nurse Educator will possess the following skills:
Educated to degree level (level 6 or working towards)
Registered Clinical Professional (registered with NMC, HCPC)
Evidence of Practice Supervisor/Practice Assessor training
Evidence of continuous professional development
Experience in a clinical role in specialist healthcare
Working knowledge of training needs analysis, planning and facilitation of adult based learning, mandatory and priority training requirements, different learning styles and application in delivering education and training
Working knowledge of clinical assessment skills for clinical non-registered and registered staff
Skilled in coaching and supporting staff and volunteers, appraisals, inductions, mentoring and preceptorship
