Contek Recruitment are currently working with a well-established specialist press toolmaking and precision engineering company, based in High Wycombe. Due to company growth, they are now looking for an experienced Press Toolmaker to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Our client have been operating for almost 50 years, and all of their operations come from their modern, well-equipped 15,000 square foot facility in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. They have a strong reputation as one of the UK's leading press toolmakers.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday (07:30am until 16:00pm) - Consistent overtime is available.

Pay: Around £18-20 per hour, dependent on experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:

* Manufacture, repair, and maintenance of a variety of press tools, including single operation, progression, transfer, and fine blank tools, ranging from 100 ton to 300 ton.

* Operating machine tools, including lathes, milling machinery, and other CNC machinery.

* Interpreting technical engineering drawings.

* Completing a range of work for industries such as Aerospace, Defence, Motorsport, Medical, Electronics, and Construction.

Requirements:

* Previous experience within press toolmaking is required.

* Previous experience working on CNC machinery is required.

* Excellent problem solving and decision making abilities.

* Able to read and understand a range of technical engineering drawings.

* Experience working within milling, turning, jig boring, and grinding is required.
