MET Technician
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £19.00 – £20.00 per hour + Bonus (up to £1,000/month)
Hours: Monday to Friday | Full-time | Permanent

The Opportunity We’re working with a long-established, multi-site commercial vehicle repair business that continues to grow year on year. They’re now looking to bring a skilled MET Technician into the team at their Birmingham site—a great opportunity to join a well-run workshop where your experience will be properly rewarded.

You’ll handle a variety of mechanical, electrical, and trim repairs on light commercial vehicles and vans. With bonus potential of up to £1,000 a month, strong benefits, and a supportive team culture—this is a role where you can settle in and thrive.

What You’ll Be Doing
Dismantling and reassembling vehicles for repair

Conducting mechanical and electrical fault diagnosis

Carrying out suspension, steering, and minor body repairs

Ordering and fitting replacement parts

Working to safety, quality, and workshop standards

What You’ll Need
Previous experience as an MET Technician in a bodyshop or fleet setting

Own tools

ATA accreditation is a bonus (but not essential)

Strong fault-finding skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team
