Finance Manager / Temp to Perm / Derbyshire

Are you an experienced finance professional looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity to lead a small and friendly finance team in a well-established, family-run business based in Heanor, Derbyshire. This role is being offered on a temp-to-perm basis, providing a great opportunity to transition into a permanent position.

Overseeing the finance function, leading a small finance team
Managing month-end processes, including management accounts, accruals, prepayments, and journals
Overseeing payroll (20 employees) and covering payroll duties when required
Supporting HR-related tasks (minimal – external HR support provided)
Ensuring financial processes run smoothly while identifying opportunities for improvementWhat We’re Looking For:

Previous experience in a similar finance role (month-end, journals, accruals, etc.)
Experience managing or overseeing payroll processes
Strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a small team
A proactive mindset with the ability to adapt and improve processesReady to Apply?
