Controls Engineer

Location: Birmingham

Salary: £45K-£55K

My Client has We have been at the forefront of advanced quality control solutions for decades, and spanning across different sectors (Orthopaedic, Aerospace and Automotive), they are looking for a passionate Controls Engineer to be part of our journey.

Skills Required:

+ HND/Degree in an Electrical/Controls/Electronics discipline.

+ Experience with PLC Programming + TIA Portal, Ladder Logic, FBD, Structured Text

+ Electrical Design experience - EPLAN

+ Industrial networking experience (Profinet etc)

+ System Integration Experience – Control Systems

+ Electrical/Electronic fault finding experience

+ Good general engineering understanding and knowledge

Role Requirements:

+ The design and modification of control systems based on customer requirements

+ Assisting technicians in assembly and testing

+ PLC design of software in TIA Portal

+ Using ePlan to design electrical systems + layouts

+ Windows software design in C++ (DESIRED)
