About the role: SEN Teaching Assistant: As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in the development and support of students with a wide range of Special Educational Needs (SEN). If you're passionate about helping children succeed and have Team Teach training and experience, this is the perfect opportunity to make a meaningful impact in their lives. In this full-time, long-term role, you will assist children across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, working alongside a dedicated and supportive SEN team to support students with a variety of needs, including autism, ADHD, SEMH, and more. You’ll provide both 1:1 support and small group interventions, ensuring that children can fully engage with the curriculum and reach their potential. By working closely with teachers and the wider school community, you’ll help develop personalised strategies and support systems for each child, fostering their social, emotional, and academic development through a nurturing and compassionate approach. Application Requirements:

• Team Teach training and experience in managing challenging behaviors.
• Previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including autism, ADHD, and SEMH.
• A compassionate, patient, and nurturing approach to supporting children's development.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team with teachers and SEN staff.
• Strong communication skills for liaising with teachers, parents, and external professionals to provide updates on student progress.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting students in their learning activities, adapting resources, and helping them overcome barriers to learning.
• Implementing strategies learned from Team Teach training to manage challenging behaviors in a positive and effective way.
• Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teachers and parents.
• Assisting in developing and delivering SEN-specific learning programs tailored to individual student needs.
• Promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
