KPJ Group is currently recruiting for a CNC Machinist to join a dynamic global manufacturing organisation at their site in Gourock, Scotland.

* Monday - Thursday 8:00am – 5:00pm / Friday 8:00am – 1:00pm

What will you be doing as a CNC Machinist?

* Setting and operating CNC lathes, with programming as required

* Performing off-set and program changes to ensure component compliance

* Ensuring optimal efficiency in machine routings and processes

* Maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring it accompanies components in production

* Liaising with the Machine Shop Supervisor to meet deadlines and address any issues promptly

* Maintaining a clean and organised work area, adhering to Health & Safety policies

* Accurately recording labour hours using the Internal Operating Bookings System

* Supporting, training, and advising colleagues to ensure efficient operations

What do you need?

* Previous time-served as a CNC Turner (or similar experience)

* Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and working to tight tolerances

* Experience in setting and operating CNC Vertical Borers (preferred but not essential)
