Engineering Contracts / Project Manager

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 PA - Excellent Benefits

Location: Harwich, Essex - Free on-site car parking, easy access from railway station
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week

Our client, a leading innovator in noise reduction and environmental compliance solutions, is seeking a talented Engineering Contracts / Project Manager to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to impactful projects.

Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will possess a strong engineering background with extensive experience in managing contracts within the (mechanical) site installation sector. A proven track record of successfully delivering projects in the processing, installation, or related engineering environments are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from planning and design to execution and closeout.
Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and installation teams to ensure project requirements are met.
Manage client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for project-related matters.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
Identify and mitigate potential project risks.
Prepare and review project documents, including terms and conditions, scope of work, and deliverables.
Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of services.

Requirements:

Strong project management skills, including the ability to create and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Demonstrated experience in contract management, ideally within mechanical installation.
Familiarity with EIA chapter drafting is beneficial.
Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar 2D/3D software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
UK Driving Licence required.
Any interest or experience in projects involving noise reduction solutions is beneficial.
