Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Mechanically Biased)

Salary - £39,000 per annum

Location - Blackburn BB1

Working Hours - Days Only - 7:15am/4:30pm - Monday to Friday

Our Client has been providing contract packing services to the food industry for almost 50 years and has an exciting opportunity for a multi skilled maintenance engineer with mechanical bias. The successful candidate will have 6+years of food manufacturing experience and will be expected to:

* Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance

* Analise and resolve issues

* Conduct repairs

* Perform general maintenance on machinery, equipment and facilities

* Have a good interpersonal skills

* Adhere to Health & Safety requirements and be conversant with HACCP and BRC.

* Ensure all equipment and machinery is in optimal working condition

* Set up machinery as required at production changeovers

Familiarity with some of the following types of machinery is required:

* Multihead weighing machines

* Bagging machines

* Linear weighers

* Cartoning machines

* Flow wrap machines

* Shrink wrap machines

* Coding equipment

* Inspection equipment (Check weighers & Metal Detectors)
