Shared Technology Services (STS) is a shared IT infrastructure support service funded by and providing IT support to three London Councils – Brent, Lewisham and Southwark. STS requires an IT Reception/Concierge Manager for Southwark Council to serve as the welcome point of contact for users requiring face-to-face onsite IT assistance and guidance. This role focuses on providing exceptional customer experience and service, good basic understanding of end user devices and standard office applications, coordinating IT support requests, and ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for all users interacting with the IT department. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, proactive, and has excellent interpersonal skills. The customer journey onsite may well be the first point of contact for our colleagues with IT and first impressions are crucial for us.
Experience
* 2 years in an IT-related customer service role
* Good basic knowledge and understanding of end user devices (laptops and mobile phones), MS Office suite applications and troubleshooting.

* Good basic knowledge of end user devices and systems, including Windows 10/11, iOS and Microsoft Office. Experience in using ITSM tools systems e.g. Hornbill.
* Tech-savvy but able to explain technical concepts in an easy-to-understand way.
