Applications Engineer / Applications & Design Engineer / Design Engineer required to join a market-leading HVAC supplier.
The successful Applications Engineer / Applications & Design Engineer / Design Engineer will be office based near Bristol. You will design and specify HVAC systems, focusing on hydronics, chillers, and heat pumps as well as reviewing HVAC specifications, conduct site surveys, select equipment, and provide technical and commercial support.
The successful Applications Engineer / Applications & Design Engineer / Design Engineer will ideally have HVAC experience with chillers, heat pumps, refrigeration, air conditioning, or similar HVAC products plus CAD proficiency. Full product training will be provided.

Applications Engineer / Applications & Design Engineer / Design Engineer Role
Develop system designs and equipment selections of HVAC products including chillers and heat pumps based on client specifications.
Select Chiller and Heat Pump, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration equipment, collaborating with suppliers for technical support.
Conduct site surveys and prepare tailored system proposals and costings.
Provide technical and commercial support to clients, including quotations and product recommendations.
Maintain documentation and ensure up-to-date knowledge of the product portfolio.

Experience as an Applications Engineer, Design Engineer, Project Engineer, Pre Sales Engineer, Product Design Engineer, Mechanical Design Engineer within the HVAC industry.
Technical applications, specifications or design experience on HVAC products such as chillers, heat pumps, hydronic systems.
Proficiency in CAD and experience in system installation and commissioning of HVAC equipment including chillers, heat pumps, refrigeration, air conditioning units.
Degree or higher level qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or relevant industry is advantageous.
Strong client communication and commercial negotiation skills.
