We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Class 2 Driver based in Luton for one of our clients on a full-time permanent basis. Our client are a national distributor and wholesaler servicing a mix of small independent and large companies.

Responsibilities of the Class 2 Driver

Multidrop delivery.
Clock in and out on a Kelio hand scanner.
Conduct pre and post-delivery checks on vehicles, pallet trucks and tail lifts.
Perform basic vehicle maintenance including fluid top-ups and bulb replacements.
Temperature checks of chilled vehicles.
Check off goods with customers.
Activate Tacho.
Wash and clean the vehicle's interior after shift.
Requirements for a successful Class 2 Driver

Class 2 driving licence.
CPC qualified.
Minimum 1-year multidrop experience.
Good communication skills.
Product and process knowledge.
Excellent time management skills.
Basic vehicle maintenance skills.
Summary of the Class 2 Driver role

Salary: £16.66 per hour
Location: Luton
Type of Contract: Permanent
Hours: 42 Hours a week with early starts and up to 15-hour days
