As a Merchandiser you'll manage all key financial Merchandising KPI's across Planning, Trading & Forecasting. A customer facing role you will maintain, develop and contribute to the profit plan for a specified area of responsibility and ensure all stakeholders have the right information, at the right time to facilitate right first time decisions across product, finance and supply planning.

Description
Account planning including sales plans, customer budget and SKU level decision making activities
Evaluating financial factors including assumptions and suitable contingency plans
Forecasting across all elements whether total business, account, caption or line level
Stock allocation requirements to deliver the customer plan whilst minimising stock exposure
Top line trading analysis for forward planning and identifying risks & opportunities
Facilitate the optimum range selection process through your analysis and insights
Develop strong cross functional relationships to ensure all interventions / activities are delivered in the most effective & profitable way
Drive efficiencies, improved ways of working and increased profit across your customer accountsProfile
Excellent Excel, numeric and analytical abilities to identify commercial insights relevant to our audience.
Previous experience of working in a retail or supply chain background
A good understand of the product and retail sales lifecycle
A confident communicator, able to communicate data and outcomes simply, able to create basic presentations to demonstrate the outcome of analysis.
To build strong relationships internally and externally, working collaboratively to achieve shared objectives.
