Pertemps Dudley are seeking an experienced Slitter Operator with a strong background in de-coiling to join our client’s production team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating slitting machines and ensuring precise cuts.
 
Key Responsibilities:

Operate slitting and de-coiling machinery
Set up and adjust machinery for various steel gauges and widths
Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to specifications
Maintain accurate records of production and machine performance 
Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Slitter Operator with de-coiling expertise in a steel environment
Strong understanding of slitting processes and equipment
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines 
Rate of pay:
£12.50-£13.50 dependant on experience
 
Hours of work:
6am-2pm Monday to Friday
