Description

Be responsible for the delivery of outstanding housing management services including the management of tenancies, allocations and community safety
Proactively monitor and report on performance
Guide, manage and inspire the team
Lead the delivery of a proactive and customer-focused service
Lead safeguarding across the business
Develop and implement strategies to optimise neighbourhood services
Maintain positive relationships with the community and stakeholders
Oversee the management of resources and budget
Ensure the team meets key performance indicators
Act as a point of contact for any issues or concerns
Foster a supportive and inclusive team environment
Stay informed on industry developments and implement best practiceProfile

A successful Neighbourhood Services Manager should have:

Excellent level of housing law and practice knowledge including anti-social behaviour and enforcement
Excellent understanding of the principles of sustainable tenancies including the effects of Adverse childhood experiences
Team management experience, preferably with large teams of remote workers
Knowledge of Letting properties
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to develop and implement effective strategies
A commitment to fostering positive community relationships
