We are currently recruiting for a company based in the Blackburn area who are looking to recruit on a permanent basis. The vacancy is for a Sales Estimator, this is a exciting opportunity for the right candidate. Please see below duties and responsibilities.

As a Sales Estimator, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of projects by providing accurate cost estimates, liaising with the architect/client on their project/proposal. This position offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to their continued growth and success.

Responsibilities

* Prepare and submit accurate cost estimates for restoration and new build projects.

* Analyse project drawings and specifications to determine material requirements/quantities.

* Conduct site/client visits to gather necessary information for cost estimates.

* Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers.

* Ensure estimates are in line with surveyors.

Experience required

* Proven experience as an Estimator with previous experience of working within a similar field such the construction industry.

* Must have a full driving licence.

* Strong analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail.

* Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.

* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

Hours of work & benefits

* Salary between 35k – 50k depending on experience and training needed
