A dynamic and supportive Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Lewisham is seeking an experienced English Teacher to join their dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a resilient and enthusiastic educator who is looking to work in a rewarding and challenging environment.

As an English Teacher in this PRU, you will be working with small groups of students who have been excluded from mainstream education. You’ll need to be creative, patient, and able to tailor your lessons to meet the individual needs of each learner.

The ideal English Teacher will:

Have QTS or QTLS and experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4

Be confident managing behaviour and building positive relationships with students

*

Bring energy, empathy, and a genuine passion for teaching

*

Have experience in an alternative provision or PRU setting (preferred but not essential)
