Role: Intervention Teacher
Location: Slough, Maidenhead
Salary: £120 to £220 per day ( Will be paid to scale)
Start Date: As soon as possible
GSL Education are a national, ethical, independent recruitment provider, looking for an Intervention Teacher in Slough and Maidenhead to start as soon as possible. This position is suitable for both Early Career Teachers and Fully Qualified Teachers of Science, with full-time availability.
As a successful Intervention Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver targeted intervention sessions for small groups (up to 10 students) struggling with comprehension in Maths, English, Science, or behaviour
Conduct focused lessons to address specific learning gaps and encourage student progress in key areas
Assess student performance regularly and adapt interventions to ensure continuous improvement
Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCo, and other staff to track progress and develop effective support strategies
Communicate regularly with parents/carers, providing updates on student progress and guidance for additional support at home
