Overview for the Parts Advisor role:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Parts Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive the correct parts and accessories for their vehicles. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong organisational abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. A background in automotive parts is advantageous but not essential.
Duties of the successful Parts Advisor :
* Assist customers in identifying and selecting the appropriate parts for their vehicles.
* Maintain an organised inventory of parts and accessories, ensuring that stock levels are monitored and replenished as necessary.
* Communicate effectively with customers via phone and in-person, providing accurate information regarding parts availability and pricing.
* Utilise Excel to manage inventory records and generate reports as required.
* Provide excellent phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries and orders.
* Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations within the parts department.
* Stay updated on new products, services, and industry trends to better assist customers.
Requirements of the successful Parts Advisor :
* Previous parts advisor experience in motor industry
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
* A positive attitude towards teamwork and customer service is essential.
Hours for this Parts Advisor vacancy are: 8.00 – 5.30 Monday to Friday and every other Saturday 8.30 – 1.00
