Job Title: HGV/PSV Advanced Technician
Location: Islington - Depot based
Term: Currently until end of March - with the possibility of extension
Rate: £24.58 hour PAYE
Hours: 35 hours - (Flexible Shifts - Morning & Lates)
Are you an experienced HGV/PSV Advanced Technician looking for a new opportunity? Our client is seeking a skilled technician to join their dynamic team. With a focus on inspection, service, maintenance, and fault diagnosis, you will play a vital role in ensuring the road worthiness of their vehicle fleet.
As a valued member of their team, you will have the opportunity to showcase your expertise in traditional and modern diagnostic techniques. Your knowledge of specialist repairs, such as welding and hydraulic systems, will be put to the test as you tackle a variety of challenges.
With your formal qualification in Motor Vehicle Repair and your current IRTEC Licence, you are equipped with the necessary skills to hit the ground running. Your extensive experience and familiarity with vehicle repairs make you a valuable asset to our client.
In this role, you will have the chance to work alongside a supportive Workshop Manager and other supervisory staff, ensuring all work tasks are efficiently completed. You will also have the opportunity to contribute your insights in vehicle specification and fault resolution.

Requirements:
Formal Qualification(s) in Motor Vehicle Repair such as City & Guilds parts 1,2+3 / BTec National Certificate or NVQ Level 3
Current IRTEC Licence (may be completed in first three months of post)
Category B driving licence minimum
Substantial experience of working on applicable vehicle types
Extensive knowledge of vehicle repair
Competent in traditional and modern vehicle diagnostic techniques
Competent in specialist repairs such as welding and hydraulic systems
