Responsibilities and duties

As a Commercial Lead you will:

Develop, implement, and maintain commercial and procurement processes.
Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and financial targets.
Lead contract negotiations and support bidding processes to manage risks.
Build and maintain strong client relationships for long-term success.
Provide financial oversight and report on project progress.
Train and mentor the commercial team, ensuring they are prepared for future projects.

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

Degree in a relevant field. I.e. Business management, Construction or engineering degree.
Proven experience in a Senior Commercial Manager role, handling multi-million-pound, multi-year contracts.
Strong knowledge of contract terms (e.g., NEC/FIDIC) and construction regulations.
Skilled in corporate finance, stakeholder management, and complex negotiations.
Leadership experience, including team management and development.
CIPS/ICM accreditation.
