Hannett Hale Recruitment are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work with a Year 5 pupil within the classroom in a small rural school on the outskirts of Penrith.

This role is to start in Oct and will be until Easter 2025 depending upon funding.

We are looking for someone with the following skills and qualities:

• Enjoys working with children

• Can use own initiative when supporting pupils

• Is confident to deliver small group interventions and catch ups when required

• Is nurturing, caring and patient

• Has a willingness to access training

• Can work alongside colleagues and has a good sense of humour

• Has recent experience working with children.

• Has a relevant qualification (at least an NVQ 2 or equivalent) and good English skills.
