Job Title: Electrical Supervisor
Location: Wolverhampton – College City Learning Quarter
Daily Rate: £270 per day

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team on a major education project at the College City Learning Quarter in Wolverhampton. This contract role will run for 6 months, with an expected start date within the next 2 weeks. You’ll play a key role in supervising electrical works, coordinating with subcontractors and internal teams, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety on-site.

Duties

*

Conduct site inductions for new operatives and subcontractors

*

Monitor and review the progress of electrical subcontractors

*

Identify and resolve blockers by liaising with site managers

*

Coordinate with mechanical teams and ITP managers to complete sign-offs and close out areas

*

Order and manage electrical materials as needed

*

Perform quality inspections to ensure compliance with project standards

*

Report regularly to the Contract Manager on progress and issues

*

Conduct site walks with the main contractor to assess and report on project development

*

Support other site-based duties as required

Skills

*

Strong background in electrical supervision on construction projects

*

In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, containment, and installation standards

*

Excellent organisational and communication skills

*

Ability to manage subcontractors effectively

*

Confident working independently and collaboratively with wider teams

*

Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high-quality work

*

ECS Card required

*

SSSTS or SMSTS certification (required)

Proven experience in a similar electrical supervisory role

*

Strong understanding of construction site operations

*

Effective problem-solving and team coordination skills

Ability to start within 2 weeks
