Junior Buyer (Graduate Role) – Barnsley (Site Based) - Salary: £26,000

Just finished uni and looking to get stuck into a career in procurement? Maybe you have a couple of years’ experience in a Purchasing role since graduating? Love food? Perfect. A Food Manufacturer based in Barnsley are looking for someone who’s hungry (pun intended) to start their career as a Junior Buyer.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

Help our lead buyer keep the factory running smoothly by making sure they have all the packaging, ingredients, and materials they need – and at the best possible price.
You’ll be the go-to person for anything to do with purchasing on site-based projects. Plus, you’ll get involved in group purchasing stuff across the business. It’s a role where you’ll have real input and be trusted to make things happen.
Oh, and you’ll also manage the packaging artwork process – making sure it’s all compliant with regulations and production-ready.
What we’re looking for:

A recent graduate who’s keen to dive into the world of procurement. Maybe you already have some experience in a Purchasing role (that’s a bonus)!
Solid organisational skills and an eye for detail.
Someone who’s not afraid to take on responsibility and get things done.
