The Senior PM is responsible for managing the assigned portfolio of projects outcomes and being the point of escalation for clients. At the core of this role is building, maintaining and growing collaborative teams of results-orientated Project Managers who live our values and behaviours, which in turn contributes to the wider Group's growth.
To succeed you will require excellent people management, project management skills and commercial experience.
In this role, you will be accountable across four key areas:
Financial & Utilisation:
Ensure the project portfolio meets their financial and technical targets and support the other areas of the business to be successful with their targets.
Technical:
Responsible for managing the project portfolio outcomes as providing consultancy support to our clients.
Responsible for managing the resources including contract resources and specialist suppliers used to complete projects.
Support the preparation of bids & quotations determining technical/Project requirements with consideration for applicable Codes & Standards.
Meet or exceed service level agreements including QMS and Gattaca Group SLA's.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Raise any risks or opportunities to your manager.
People:
Support and grow (upskill) other team members by passing on knowledge and supporting development activities.
Ensure project resources fully understand how their activities feed into the overall project strategy.
Business Development:
support sales and business development activities and engage with sales professionals from within the Gattaca business.
The detail
To succeed in this role, your time should be split as follows…
Approximately 70% of your time will be spent managing, supporting, and delivering projects. You will support your teams of engineers/project managers to hit their own personal objectives by ensuring each employee has effective support and development opportunities enabling each to maximise their effort.
The remaining 30% of your time will be spent creating productive relationships with colleagues, candidates and clients to identify and respond to revenue earning opportunities
