About the Role The Assistant Bar & Kitchen Manager will support the Bar Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring outstanding guest experiences, and upholding high standards of service and quality. This role requires a strong background in both bar operations and kitchen management to drive seamless collaboration across the team.
Key Responsibilities Operations & Service:
Assist in the daily running of the bar, maintaining efficiency and smooth workflows.
Manage inventory, ordering, and stock levels for both bar and kitchen supplies.
Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the bar and kitchen before and after service.
Maintain a welcoming atmosphere and high levels of customer satisfaction.Team Leadership & Development:
Train and mentor bar and kitchen staff, ensuring service excellence.
Support with staff scheduling, labour cost management, and performance evaluations.Food & Beverage Management:
Work with the Bar Manager and kitchen team to develop and enhance menus.
Oversee food and drink presentation, ensuring quality and consistency.Health & Safety Compliance:
Enforce hygiene, safety, and alcohol service regulations.
Conduct regular inspections and implement best practices in food and beverage handling.Financial Management:
Assist in budget management, tracking sales, and reducing waste.What We’re Looking For: Experience & Skills:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in both bar and food environments.
Strong knowledge of beverage preparation, food safety, and handling.
Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
Proficiency in inventory management and POS systems.Personal Attributes:
