The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the aerospace sector, particularly in supply chain management, industrialisation, specialist problem solving, and relationship building.

This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to persuade and collaborate with suppliers at all levels and must have a mechanical engineering knowledge in the aerospace sector.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Programme Management:

Lead and manage complex programmes related to the supply chain and industrialisation of aerospace electrical systems.
Develop and implement programme plans, schedules, and budgets.
Ensure programmes are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.Supply Chain Management:

Oversee the end-to-end supply chain processes, ensuring efficient and cost-effective operations.
Collaborate with suppliers to secure optimal terms and ensure quality and delivery standards are met.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders.Industrialisation:

Drive the industrialisation process of new and existing products, focusing on machining and casting.
Implement best practices to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
Monitor and improve manufacturing processes to meet industry standards and customer requirements.Specialist Problem-Solving:

Identify and resolve technical and operational issues within the supply chain and manufacturing processes.
Utilise analytical and problem-solving skills to address challenges and implement effective solutions.
Work closely with engineering teams to ensure product design aligns with manufacturing capabilities.Relationship Building:

Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation, from shop floor to senior management.
Leverage strong persuasion skills to influence suppliers and negotiate favourable terms
