BDM Midlands / North UK - Remote Based: Covering Burnley, Birmingham, Bradford, Leeds, Manchester, North Wales, Stoke and Wigan.

Further expansion has created an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their dynamic Waste Management brokerage team.
Role:
* As Business Development Manager you will be based in or around the North or Midlands and be covering both regions with flexibility for UK wide travel and frequent overnight stays.
* The role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers whilst developing new business from existing clients and actively seeking new sales opportunities to drive business and sales growth.
* You will be responsible for generating new business and closing sales deals through face-to-face meetings, video calls, phone and via email, whilst developing fantastic customer relationships.

Responsibilities
* Lead Generation / Market Analysis
* Develop New Business Opportunities
* Pipeline - build and maintain a steady pipeline to ensure constant flow of opportunities; both run rate and larger scale.
* Build and Maintain Client Relationships.
* Prepare and present business proposals, presentations, and sales pitches to potential clients.
* Lead negotiations and close business deals.
* Work closely with the wider sales team to ensure a consistent flow of qualified leads.
* Track and report on lead generation metrics, sales pipeline progress, and business development activities to management.
Experience & Knowledge Required
* Previous experience in the waste / recycling industry
* Must have managed portfolios in excess of £75k - £ million Achieved targets of at least £60,000 per month.
* Proven success in account management and business development.
* Computer literate with solid experience of CRM software and MS Office
* Proven ability to juggle multiple prospects, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
* Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
