A leading Tier 1 contractor is looking for a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join their team on an exciting, large-scale project in Bridgewater, Somerset. This multi-year project offers an excellent opportunity for a driven engineer to work on a high-profile development, contributing to innovative solutions and cutting-edge mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the design, installation, and commissioning of mechanical systems on site.
* Ensure all mechanical works are completed to the highest standard, on time, and within budget.
* Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination across all mechanical aspects of the project.
Oversee and troubleshoot mechanical systems, including:
* Clean rooms
* Pre-fab modular installations
* Sprinkler systems
* Building Management Systems (BMS)
* EVLS (Electrical/Mechanical Valve Lockout Stations)
Requirements:
* Proven experience in mechanical engineering within large-scale construction projects.
* Hands-on knowledge of the systems listed above.
* Full UK driving license is required due to site location (on-site parking provided).
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work effectively in a team and independently as needed.
