Electrical Estimator

Salary: £61,723 + 3% bonus

About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Electrical Estimator to join our team at UKPN Services. In this role, you will produce detailed pricing for HV & LV installations from client specifications, conceptual designs, and technical work scopes. You will support Senior Estimators in completing complex bids and ensure accurate estimates for multi-discipline electrical works. This position offers blended working after a 6-month probationary period (3 days in the office, 2 remote).
Key Responsibilities:
Produce accurate estimates for electrical works, including labour, plant, equipment, materials, and sub-contract requirements.
Support the estimating resource in delivering the estimating plan and major projects.
Collaborate with various departments to ensure deadlines are met and bids are successful.
Consult with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain the best quotations and improve bid quality.Benefits:

Formal qualification in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Estimating discipline
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent
Experience estimating multi-discipline HV & LV electrical projects
Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft ExcelSkills:
Strong numerical and commercial awareness
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Understanding of construction drawings, design specifications, and procurement processes
