Safeguarding Administrator
OA is seeking a Safeguarding Administrator to provide vital support to the Safeguarding and Housing Team. In this key role, you will manage administrative tasks to uphold the safety and welfare of residents in asylum seeker accommodation. Your responsibilities will include maintaining accurate records, coordinating communication between departments and external agencies, and ensuring safeguarding practices are efficient and compliant.
Location: Highams Park, London.
Hours: This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:50 PM, office based.
Salary: £28,000-£32,000 – depending on experience.
Safeguarding Administrator - Benefits:

Safeguarding Administrator - Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to the Safeguarding Lead and team, managing communications and case files.
Assist with case management, ensuring accurate and secure records in line with data protection.
Maintain safeguarding records, incidents, and referrals, stored separately from main resident files.
Support policy adherence and staff awareness of safeguarding roles and procedures.
Organise meetings, take minutes, and maintain clear documentation.
Input and track safeguarding data for reporting and analysis.
Coordinate safeguarding training, including scheduling and maintaining attendance records.
Contribute to team initiatives, preparing reports and materials as needed.
Safeguarding Administrator – Skills and Experience Required:
Level 2 qualification or equivalent, ideally in social work, education, administration, or related fields.
Administrative experience in safeguarding, social services, education, or housing.
Skilled in managing sensitive data securely.
Familiarity with multi-agency collaboration (desirable).
Strong organisational, time management, and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management software.
Compassionate, professional, and able to handle confidential information discreetly.
Self-motivated and adaptable, with a proactive approach to challenges.
