A mostly field-based Business Development Executive covering the South, suiting a water or utilities background, is required for Hunters’ training provider client to be responsible for maintaining existing relationships with clients and also driving business growth.  The BDE identifies new business opportunities, including new markets, new clients, new partnerships or new products and services.

• Build relationships with new clients, understanding their needs and developing proposals to support these needs
• Research and identify new business opportunities, including but not limited to, growth areas, trends, clients, partnerships, services or new ways of reaching existing markets
• Ensure a good understanding of the businesses products and services and be able to advise others about them
• Build and maintain strong relationships with all key stakeholders across the business• Represent the company at conferences and events
 
Business Development Manager - fit
 
• Driving License – full and clean
• Experience in business development or sales  
• Ideally a candidate with an understanding or work experience in the water, utilities and infrastructure sector
• Commercial awareness.
• Tenacity and drive to seek new business and meet or exceed targets
• Strong interpersonal and networking skills for building and developing relationships with clients
