Unite People are recruiting for a permanent Project Manager on behalf of a national civil engineering contractor for a number of clean water pipeline schemes on the Anglian water framework.
About the Role:
The role will see you working as north as Lincoln or as south as Norwich, so flexibility to travel across this region is essential.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Take full responsibility for managing and successfully delivering complex projects or multiple project packages within the Anglian Water Framework.
* Oversee all aspects of project management, including health and safety, design, customer relations, quality, environmental impact, programme adherence, and cost/value management during both pre-production (ECI phase) and production stages.
* Track the progress of offsite and onsite operations to ensure they meet deadlines and budget constraints.
* Foster a positive team culture on your projects to enhance well-being and performance.
* Drive change by embedding production line thinking and our “offsite first” philosophy across the team.
What We’re Looking For:
* An exceptional team leader with strong people management, analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
* Experience in both pre-production and production project management within a major project environment is highly desirable.
* A natural leader capable of inspiring a diverse team.
* Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.
* Programme-focused, with the ability to plan and organize resources to deliver on time and within scope.
* Commercial acumen, with the ability to guide the team in producing accurate time and cost forecasts and reports.
* Experience with BIM/digital tools is advantageous.
* A minimum HNC qualification in a civil engineering or construction management is preferred
* Proficiency in IT is essential.
* A relevant professional qualification is desirable.
* SMSTS safety qualification and a valid CSCS card are required.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
