Headley have a vacancy open for a senior electrical engineer, required by a Huddersfield business, a manufacturer of industrial capital equipment.

The company is well established and regarded as a leading manufacturer, supplying a bespoke range of technical capital process machinery.

This is a senior level role where you’ll be able to deal with projects independently from the outset.

Some of the duties of the role are to include:

* Participating in tendering process, understanding specifications and applying relevant industry standards to projected projects

* Maintaining customer contact to ensure project meets spec. some site visits may be required

* Preparation of P&ID, specification of electrical components to include motors, junction boxes, fittings and cabling.

* Selection of appropriate components and production of BOM for the electrical side of the project

* Maintenance of appropriate documentation relevant to the project

* Liaising as required with any 3rd party suppliers

This role is at a senior level and requires an experienced electrical engineer / EC&I engineer.

Relevant candidates will be educated / qualified in an electrical discipline and have significant experience in instrumentation engineering.

You’ll be used to taking a lead role in projects and be motivated and confident to work independently, leading your side of the project.
