We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and dynamic ERP solutions provider. They specialize in delivering tailored ERP implementations across a diverse client base and are seeking an experienced ERP Implementation Consultant to join their team. This role requires someone with a strong understanding of ERP systems, experience in client implementations in the FINANCE OR MANUFACTURING SECTOR, and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.

Position Overview:

This role will involve implementing ERP software solutions at client sites across the UK and, occasionally, in Europe or worldwide. Extensive UK travel is required, with occasional international travel, so the ideal candidate will be based near the Midlands for easy access to major motorways.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Skills:

* Analyze and understand client business operations to map and implement effective ERP solutions.

* Accurately interpret client needs, designing and configuring solutions that meet project goals.

* Deliver projects according to specific timelines, ensuring successful and timely implementations.

* Provide end-user and "train-the-trainer" training for ERP solutions.

* Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including specifications, process guides, and training materials.

* Apply accounting knowledge, especially in areas such as Chart of Accounts (COA) design.

Technical Skills:

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

* Experience with installing applications on both server and client-side, including terminal services.

* Ability to run database queries and create reports (e.g., SQL queries).

* Willingness to learn and apply additional data query languages for consulting purposes.

Personal Attributes and Professionalism:

* Strong communication skills with an ability to train and present information to all levels of client staff.

* A clean driving license and personal transport are required for travel commitments.

* Demonstrates a flexible and “can-do” approach to project delivery.

* Comfortable working independently in various environments and adaptable to short-notice travel requirements.

* Displays resilience, professionalism, sound judgment, and motivation under pressure.

* Excellent planning and organizational skills to manage activities, prioritize, and meet project requirements.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

* Previous ERP implementation experience with products such as Epicor, Sun Accounts, Great Plains, Navision, Agresso, or Sage Enterprise.

* Solid accounting knowledge, including financial and management accounts, project accounting, multi-currency, and consolidation processes.

* Exposure to Distribution, CRM, and training modules would be advantageous.

* Familiarity with software and hardware tools used for ERP delivery.

* Strong aptitude for learning new software systems and adapting to client-specific solutions.
