Job Title: Sales Development Representative / Business Development Executive

Salary: £28,000 to £32,000 basic + Commission

Overview - No more cold calling
Are you interested in working in sales but a role with endless cold calls is putting you off? If so, this could be a great opportunity for you. This role is with an established Telecoms business working with some great brands and household names and there is no cold calling.
So, who do I call?
This company are providing their SDR’s an opportunity to follow up on marketing qualified leads, enabling you to have more valuable conversations on a consistent basis. You will have the opportunity to explore these leads and progress them through the sales journey. For smaller opportunities this can mean you will complete the full sales cycle, however for larger opportunities this will mean further qualification to provide meetings for the field sales reps to follow up with (you also get the recognition for this).
What experience do I need?
If you have previous experience working for a telecoms reseller that is great, however not essential. This company will be providing full training in products as well as ongoing training and development. Their focus is to enable you to continually grow within their business. A great example of this is the hiring manager who joined the business with no telecoms experience but has had 4 promotions in the past 4 years.
Ideal previous experience (not essential)
* Business to business sales experience
* Experience within the telecoms industry, ideally with a telecoms reseller or IT MSP
* Proven background as a top performer within a sales team
* New business sales experience
* Previous experience with outbound calling
Skills required
* More than anything this role requires someone who is genuinely interested in building a career in sales and is money motivated
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and manage relationships with clients over the phone or via email.
* Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
* Ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.
* A proactive and self-motivated approach to identifying and pursuing sales opportunities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM systems
