The company supply complex high precision engineered components to a variety of industries across the UK including Motor Sport, Medical, Aerospace and Military. The Role of EDM Spark Eroder
The company are looking for an experienced EDM spark eroder to work within a very demanding but rewarding environment.

Duties of EDM Spark Eroder

* Machining a range of metals into precision components for high end aerospace, defence and medical applications

* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical diagrams

* Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment at all times.

* Providing feedback to team leaders and shop floor staff to highlight any technical issues or potential risks.

* Help drive technology and cutting-edge manufacturing techniques.

Requirements of EDM Spark Eroder

* Ideally experienced working on Sodick or Wire Erosion machines, but training will be provided.

* Leadership skills are desirable

* Good verbal & written communication skills

* Excellent attention to detail

* Flexible approach to workload and business requirements

* Works well in a team environment

* The ability to work under pressure

* From an engineering background

Hours of Work of EDM Spark Eroder

* Normal Days, Early finish on Fridays

Salary and Benefits of EDM Spark Eroder

* £18.00 - £20.00 per hour

* Pension scheme

* Regular overtime.

* 25 Days Holiday plus Bank Holidays
