A leading manufacturer is seeking a Junior Quality Engineer to join its growing team.

The Role
My client has expanded into the Aerospace and Formula One industries, and they have seen a significant increase in demand for high-tolerance inspection to meet customer requirements. To support this, they have recently invested in new machinery.

My client is now looking for a Trainee Quality Inspector/Engineer to collaborate with cell leaders and help drive quality standards to the highest level.

Key Responsibilities

* Operate CMM and 3D scanners (training provided)

* Use Polyworks Inspection software (training provided)

* Inspect components according to engineering drawings

* Complete First-Off Checks and provide feedback to machine shop cell leaders

* Prepare FAIRs and inspection reports

* Design and develop fixtures based on job requirements

The Candidate

Completed an Engineering qualification (Level 3, HNC, or HND, BEng)

Strong understanding of engineering drawings and geometric tolerancing

Excellent attention to detail

Good organisational skills

Strong communication skills

Flexibility during busy periods

The Package
The salary for this position is £20,000–£30,000 for candidates who meet all key qualifications and competencies.
