Job Title: Multi-Skilled Mechanical Engineer

Salary Package: 57,000 + Bonus, Overtime and Package - £60k++
Job Type: Permanent
Rotating Shifts Monday to Friday, NOT 12 HOUR SHIFTS
Electrical bias, ideally dual-skilled

Key Responsibilities – Multi-Skilled Mechanical Engineer

To service adjust and repair machinery and equipment using the necessary tools in a safe manner
Ensure the continuous running of the production process by eliminating downtime through a safe and logical approach to fault finding and maintenance of equipment.
Working on various types of equipment including complex hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic control systems
To examine machinery and equipment and report on condition, performance, and plan of action for improvements
Carry out Planned and preventative maintenance to agreed schedules
Share good ideas to form mini projects to improve the plant performance
Qualifications & Requirements - Multi-Skilled Mechancial  Engineer

Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Maintenance or similar
HND or HNC diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering
Good working knowledge of electrical engineering
PLC experience desirable
Or the equivalent of any of the above in electrical or mechanical fields preferably with a manufacturing background
Ideally Manufacturing industry experience
