TeacherActive is currently supporting nurseries across Essex in their search for passionate and dedicated Level 3 Nursery Practitioners. We have a variety of roles available, ranging from immediate start positions to placements starting in September. Roles and Responsibilities:

As a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children. Your key duties will include:

Providing high-quality care and learning opportunities for children.

Planning and delivering engaging activities that support the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of all children in your care.

Observing and assessing children’s progress and maintaining accurate records.

Supporting children's personal, social, and emotional development.

Building strong relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues.

Adhering to safeguarding procedures and nursery policies at all times.

Encouraging independence, confidence, and curiosity in young learners.

Qualifications & Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

A Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years Education (e.g., CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent).

Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting.

A strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and safeguarding procedures.

Excellent communication skills and a passion for early childhood development.

An Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).

Up-to-date Paediatric First Aid certification (desirable).
