Construction Manager - Highways

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Construction Manager specializing in highways with a leading tier one principal contractor. We are seeking candidates with a strong track record of successfully delivering high-profile highway projects. Site Agents or Senior Site Agents looking to advance their careers are also encouraged to apply.

Your Responsibilities:

Lead project delivery, reporting directly to the Directors.

Create the constructability programme in collaboration with planning professionals.

Oversee commercial success through detailed cost reporting.

Manage plant materials and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery.

Guide, mentor, and oversee the delivery team.

Engage with clients, designers, and service providers to manage risks.

Ensure a safe and productive working environment.

Requirements:

Extensive experience as a Construction Manager or Senior/Site Agent on UK highway projects.

Previous Smart Motorway experience is advantageous.

Tertiary civil engineering qualification and professional Project Management training.

Strong management and communication skills.

Commercially astute with excellent client engagement skills.

Site based full time. 

Salary up to 75k + package
