Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
Promote a love for literature and language, encouraging creativity, critical thinking, and effective communication skills.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to ensure academic improvement.
Contribute to the development of the English curriculum, ensuring it meets the needs of all students.
Participate in extracurricular activities, including clubs, trips, and school events, to enrich the student experience.
Maintain positive relationships with students, staff, and parents to support a collaborative school culture.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a relevant degree in English or a related field.
Experience teaching English at secondary level (experience at A-Level is desirable but not essential).
Strong knowledge of the English curriculum and current educational developments.
Passion for education and a commitment to helping every student succeed.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
