We currently offer a fantastic opportunity to join a successful Fresh Produce supplier. The position of Technical Administrator will work with a committed & energetic team, gaining the opportunity to learn, train and develop technical compliance knowledge to begin a successful career within the industry.

As the business expands, they require further support across the technical compliance team. The technical team is passionate about building the knowledge into inventive ways of improving business processes. They are audited to BRC, Organic, Red Tractor, along with several customer standards. The role will support the Technical Compliance and Health and Safety with administrative tasks, as well as site inspections, testing, and keeping records up to date.

Duties include;

Day to day help with administration from the technical team.

Adding value to the individual accounts by helping the team with:

* BRC requirements

* Ethical requirements including SEDEX and ETI audits

* Pesticide compliance with retailers’ codes of practice

* Legal requirement under UK law

* Grower annual performance data

* Customer complaints

* Document control

Managing Customer portals and libraries

Managing day to day H&S checks, keeping records updated

We require;

Excellent administrative skills, with confident IT ability

Evidence of experience working in a comparable role, preferably within the fresh produce/food industry

Graduates with a Science related Degree to the Food and/or Fresh Produce sectors would be considered

Exposure to technical, compliance would be ideal

High level of communication ability and attention to detail

Salary dependent on experience offered; up to £32k

Hours; Monday - Friday, with some flexibility as required
