Job Opportunity: School Chefs Wanted in the Stockport Area
 
We are looking for passionate and dedicated chefs to join our team and provide nutritious, tasty meals to students in schools across the Stockport area.
 
Role Details:
- Position: School Chef
- Location: Stockport area
- Pay Rate: £12.59 per hour
- Hours: 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday
- Contract: Term-time only
 
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals, ensuring they meet dietary requirements and food safety standards.
- Work alongside kitchen staff to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Support menu planning, focusing on nutritious and balanced meals for children.
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
 
What We're Looking For:
- Experience working as a chef or cook, ideally in a school or similar environment.
- A passion for preparing fresh and healthy food.
- Ability to work efficiently within a set time frame.
- A positive, can-do attitude and great team spirit.
- Knowledge of food hygiene standards (a Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable but not essential).
