We are working with a market-leading manufacturing organisation to recruit an experienced Test Engineer. This newly created position reflects the company's continued investment and commitment to strengthening its Engineering department.

As the Test Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and managing testing processes to guarantee the reliability and quality of the company’s products. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the product lifecycle, ensuring top-tier performance and innovation.

The Test Engineer will be responsible for:

* Conducting rigorous testing and quality assurance on products

* Developing and implementing comprehensive test plans, protocols, and procedures.

* Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues related to product functionality, reliability, and safety

* Collaborating with design and engineering teams to identify and address potential defects or design flaws

* Ensuring all test equipment and tools are properly maintained and calibrated

* Analysing test results and compile detailed reports for management and stakeholders

* Continuously improving testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy

* Ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality certifications

Skills and Experience:

* Previous experience within a Technical Test Engineer role within a manufacturing environment.

* Strong understanding of testing protocols, tools, and methodologies.

* Electrical knowledge and experience will be advantageous

* Strong project management skills

* Experience in CE implementation will be advantageous

* Engineering biased qualification such as HNC / HND / BTEC / BEng would be advantageous but time -served engineering experience will also be considered
