What are the roles and responsibilities for a SEN Headteacher?
You will shape the future of SEND education within the school and beyond.
You’ll work closely with the leadership team, teaching staff, and support staff, to create a shared vision for the school’s growth, ensuring that everyone continues to raise the standards of teaching, learning, and care for all students.
To instil a creative and innovative style of leadership that inspires the pursuit of excellent educational standards and high aspirations for all pupils.
You will demonstrate a dynamic and professional leadership style, which motivates all staff and sets high expectations.
What Class People are looking for in a SEN Headteacher?
You will have at least 3 years at Deputy Head teacher level, with evidence of successful leadership in a SEND environment.
A proven commitment to school improvement, including working with other schools in collaboration.
You will have a working knowledge and understanding of school finances, curriculum development and operational planning.
Experience of working closely with the Governing Body and the Local Authority to support school improvement.
An exceptional role model with the highest standards of integrity, who is approachable and demonstrates a strong and collaborative leadership style.

This opportunity is paying up to £101,067 per year on a full-time all year round basis.
