Full-Time Design & Technology Teacher (KS3 & KS4)
Location: Chesterfield
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Start Date: ASAP
We are seeking a passionate and qualified Design & Technology (DT) Teacher to join our vibrant school community in Chesterfield. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and educate students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and dynamic lessons, both practical and theoretical, including teaching GCSE classes.
Key Responsibilities:
Full-time teaching of Design & Technology to KS3 & KS4 students.
Planning and delivering high-quality lessons, incorporating both practical and theoretical elements.
Preparing students for GCSEs through effective assessment and feedback.
Contributing to the wider school community, including attending staff meetings and parent evenings as required.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Confidence and experience in teaching Design & Technology up to Key Stage 4.
Ability to manage practical sessions in the classroom.
Strong planning, assessment, and organisational skills.
Commitment to engaging and motivating students to achieve their best.This is a full teaching role, requiring dedication to all aspects of the job, including planning, marking, and attending meetings.
